Zack Dowdy who visited us last summer during the Ultra Bowl has put out his movie The Hype Train on the internet for all of you to watch. This movie features a bunch of rippers, many of them you have seen here in Malmö during our Ultra Bowl comps and some of them you might not have seen so much of before. What they all have in common is that they know how to skate concrete transitions and that they all rip. Even Pontus Alv has got a small section in there from TBS. So sit back and enjoy this D.I.Y movie with some sick skating and some awesome tunes.

Danijel Stankovic – Grey Area

Danijel Stankovic is all over the internet at the moment. Not too long ago the polish skateboard movie Grey Area was released and now it is starting to find its way out on the internet. To accompany the release of his magnificent part Live skateboard media did a little interview with Danijel. As a bonus Melowe also released a clip promoting his new socks. Enjoy!

Grand Opening of Folkets Miniramp

On the 1st of June it is time to gather in Folkets Park in Malmö and take part in the Grand Opening of the new 10 meter wide miniramp built by Bryggeriet that will be located there permanently from then on. There will be a jam of some sort and 20 000 SEK will be handed out to the ones that rip the hardest. More info on this soon.

Under året har det producerats massvis av skatefilm på Bryggeriets gymnasium. Skejtarna får uppmärksamhet och sina bravader dokumenterade. Men bakom varje videodel finns en filmare som satt in minst lika mycket arbete som skejtaren. Timme ut och timme in, försök efter försök. Den här filmen handlar om dem som får sina vänner att skina. Bryggeriets gymnasium och Skate Malmö presenterar stolt Filmarfilmen 2013.

Polar Skate Co in CPH

Last weekend was spent in Copenhagen with the Polar crew consisting of Aaron Herrington, Hjalte Halberg, Peter Stege and mr Alv. Copenhagen has got a lot of amazing spots to offer and is generally a great city so obviously we had a great time. You will see more of this in the near future I’m sure. Here’s some instasnaps from the weekend to satisfy your immediate need.

As some of you have noticed we (Bryggeriet) are building some new stuff down at Stapelbäddsparken. It will be 300 square meters of good stuff right next to the deep end and pool and it will probably take another two months of work. We’ll keep you posted.

Miniramp Jam – Folkets park in Malmö 1/6

Right now Bryggeriet are building a sick miniramp that will be located right in the center of Malmö, in Folkets park and to kick things off properly there will be a contest with some good cash prizes on the first of June. More info will follow shortly but it’s on on the 1/6 and 20 000 kr in cash will be handed out to the best rippers of the session. Stay tuned.
