Spot: Trelleborg Skatepark [updated]

Trelleborg is located 30 km south of Malmö and hosts a brand spanking new skatepark built by Concreatures – the Malmö based skatepark construction company that are responsible for building some of the best skateparks around Sweden. The park is around 500 square meters and consists of one lovely looking bowl and an area filled with bumps, different kinds of transitions, corners, hips, curbs, banks and rails.

Me, Pontus Alv and Oskar Rozenberg Hallberg drove down from Malmö last weekend to check it out and collect some footage for Oskis upcoming interview in swedish skateboard magazine Giftorm and to film for Polar Skate Co. The park is rad and perfectly placed in a small park right in the center of Trelleborg. The bowl got a few different sections, a hip and a spine that connects it with the other area of the park. The bowl got shredded to bits by Oski who attacked the hip and took his frontside ollies to new heights and we managed to get some good footage on this lovely autumn sunday.

On wednesday the 16th of november the park will officially open and there will be speeches and some sort of happening at 14.30. Make sure you pay the park a visit before the winter is here!
